Door and Shading Specialist Design
In line with recent market changes, the bidding, specialist design, and execution processes have evolved. Unfortunately, the detailed and thoroughly coordinated door and window consignment, along with the corresponding specialist design package interpreting it, are no longer a necessary part of architectural execution, simpler permit, or even simpler notification documentation.
The door and window or facade specialist design package (consisting of approximately 20-30 floor plans and about 20-30 detail drawings from all sides of the aluminium windows, including all turning claddings, shading devices, electrical connection points, glass and profile structural dimensions, connecting structures, water and vapor barriers, layer interfaces, brackets and supports, glass distribution, delineating glass corners, etc.) must be prepared before requesting door and shading offers.
Why?
Because until then, we don’t know what to adapt to, what to calculate, what additional accessories are needed, not least of all which profile system to incorporate as a building element.
The specialist design is also beneficial because during the comparison of offers, it provides a uniform, clarified, and unambiguous basis for aluminium door and window manufacturers or resellers, making it easy to compare offers and enabling contractual implementation according to the specialist design with a completeness declaration. There will be no dispute; it must be done exactly as specified in the plans.
