Aluminium shadings are perhaps the only group of building elements that can continuously evolve and remain innovative in every detail. In Hungary, many companies are involved in the production and installation of shading technology products, but we are not aware of any that do not assemble, i.e., variate and assemble system products purchased on the international market, manufactured by others.

What kind of sun protection does a builder need? They should find a reliable shading solution that is capable of meeting the general requirements placed on it, with a long lifespan and elevated color fastness (even under high UV exposure), able to withstand today’s heightened weather conditions, and if damaged (mechanical impact) or reaching the end of its life cycle, replacement parts should be readily available.

Why do we primarily design, supply, and install Schlotterer products? From the above list of quality criteria, it is clear that besides many small details, there are also a few distinct (non-negotiable) components that determine the experience and safety for the user. Let’s think about the automotive industry, and through this example, our suggestion will immediately become understandable: Would you buy a car assembled from small components sourced from remote factories, not designed by a cohesive design team with thousands of engineering hours? No. Would you buy a car whose manufacturing is not overseen by the car brand and does not influence the quality of its components? No. Is there any serious and well-known car manufacturer who releases vehicles onto the market without setting up a cohesive warranty background and parts replacement obligation? No, nobody would buy from them, as they wouldn’t find a sane distributor or reseller.

Why did we draw a parallel between shading and the automotive industry? Because when building a new family home with transparent glass surfaces, approximately the price of a (low- or mid-range) car is spent on shading! So, now read the above definition again! Compliance with requirements, lifespan, color fastness, repairability due to damage, parts replacement. These are the criteria that our customers expect from us, which is why we deal with Schlotterer shading products.
