Schlotterer louvered shading systems – Raffstores
European architects generally envision aluminium louvre shadings in front of transparent (large field) glass surfaces for sun protection. The simple and practical reason behind this is that only this type of product can function well as a continuous covering in front of large surfaces, allowing users to control light in stages, and it also integrates well with more domesticated facades.
In addition to all this, the slim and stable guide rails are available in a plasterable version as standard. There is also the option for a stable and aesthetic bottom rail elevation, allowing for future insect screen installation.
The entire Schlotterer RAFF product line is designed for high demand situations, offering a high level of comfort, and can be further enhanced with accessories. It was the first in Europe to be tested and declared to withstand 100 km/h wind speed without permanent deformation at the accredited quality control laboratory in Rosenheim!
Schlotterer does not compromise on width and height limitations. We do not adhere to the common Hungarian practice where, when winking at the manufacturer or reseller, the response to the customer’s emphatic question “it shouldn’t be possible, but we’ll figure it out” is given. Customers expect durability and long lifespan from Schlotterer, and these size limits guarantee that.
Schlotterer RAFF louvers are available with all operating and control models. The built-in motors and drive arms have the highest expected lifespan in the shading market. We have compatible and reliable solutions for integration with building management systems, and we are happy to cooperate in their design and implementation.
The RAFF systems are fundamentally rail-guided, but there is the option to use thermal (thermal bridge-free) rails or wire guidance.
Every Schlotterer RAFF system can naturally be equipped (even retroactively!) with Schlotterer IGI insect screens. The IGI insect screen family comes in hinged, spring-loaded (retractable or sideways retractable), fixed (with multiple fastening methods), and sliding (multi-wing) versions.
