Reynaers SL 38 is an ultra-slim visible frame aluminium window system designed for residential homes and building projects. It’s offered by Hungary’s leading manufacturer of residential aluminium doors and windows.
Inspired by the Bauhaus school of design, which often features steel or ultra-slim aluminium systems in renovated family homes, Reynaers produces three characteristic appearances from its SlimLine 38 aluminium products:
The Reynaers SL 38 window system draws inspiration from the loft renovation market. However, it is capable of serving the Bauhaus world with a window system designed to meet modern thermal and acoustic requirements. While it boasts good thermal insulation and wind resistance, it is not suitable for passive houses. The system does not include sliding or lift-and-slide doors; it’s solely a window system. The closing of the sashes is mechanical, but visible motor installation is possible. Only small sash weights can be moved; it’s not designed for heavier sashes. The system supports corner mulling and angle mulling but not corner opening. The structure can be “endlessly” extended on the facade using the KAV special sorting method. In addition to silicone glass-to-glass sorting, a system sorting reinforced with equally narrow aluminium profiles can also be applied.
Since its establishment in 1965, Reynaers has grown from a Belgian family business into one of Europe’s largest administrators of aluminium doors and window systems. Their product range strategy differs somewhat from that of their major German or Scandinavian competitors, as they have always considered the residential market (due to their Belgian family house sales roots) to be the first to develop. Reynaers’ aluminium products now range from the glass surfaces of individual custom construction tower buildings to the smallest residential buildings (vertically asymmetrical revolving, known as PIVOT doors). There is truly no blind spot that would require Reynaers to install competitors’ products, including:
