Schüco AWS 90

The Schüco AWS 90 is an aluminium window system with passive house-level thermal insulation. In response to the increasing popularity of the 90 mm installation depth, Schüco has developed the AWS 90.SI+ and AWS 90 BS.SI+ variants to complement this new window series.

The new AWS 90 BS.SI+ aluminium block window system is equipped with state-of-the-art thermal insulation. With just a 90 mm installation depth, it enables unique architectural solutions. With a Uf value of 1.2 W/m2K and a visible profile width of 95 mm, it reaches the level of windows installed in passive houses. The narrow visible profiles allow for a harmonious, unified appearance with concealed sashes.

Furthermore, with the new Green window generation, Schüco responds to stricter regulations and enables the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions required in the construction industry. To achieve this, pioneering environmental materials, such as castor oil in polyamide sealing profiles, are used. Thus, Schüco is the first manufacturer to develop a series-produced aluminium window where renewable raw materials significantly replace fossil-based materials.

Schüco AWS 90 BS.SI+ Window

• Ideal combination of design and energy efficiency, with Uf values from 0.8 W/m2K
• Uf midpoint value of 1.2 W/m2K, visible profile width of 95 mm, Uw value of 0.84 W/m2K, plastic spacers, and Ug value of 0.6 W/m2K
• Profile width possible from 77 mm, glass thickness up to 58 mm
• Manufacturing compatibility with Schüco AWS 90.SI+ and AWS 112 IC windows, achieving Uf values without glass bonding

Schüco AWS 90.SI+ Green Window

With the Green window system, Schüco becomes the first manufacturer to develop a series-produced aluminium window where significant amounts of renewable raw materials are found in plastics. This allows for the partial replacement of fossil-based materials with controlled, natural-based materials.
