KAV derives its essence from a unique philosophy of sales, design, manufacturing, and installation of aluminium doors and windows aimed at technical extremes.
Perhaps other competitors with similarly equipped, professionally mechanized facilities can produce simple, catalog-listed structures. However, a different corporate mechanism is required to realize unique ideas and execute custom-designed, high-altitude, or operationally unique aluminium doors and windows. KAV has developed a special operational model.
For our engineers, who have worked in the traditional world of doors and windows for decades, it wasn’t easy at first. However, they were able to quickly detach themselves from standard foundations and professionally expand their horizons. This mindset is the foundation for our team to realize the unique visions of developers and architects. Those ideas that are generally considered unattainable by our competitors. Along this philosophy, we create custom facade door and window products, aluminium window and sliding door concepts, as well as functional prototypes. KAV holds a patent and a design patent, with another product type currently under patent pending status.
Custom doors and windows beyond standards
When we ask a developer what their primary reason for choosing aluminium doors and windows is, they mention size limits compared to other materials, facade appearance alternatives, the handling of heavy weights, or the delicate frame system. In designing the new KAV products, we refine these areas, as well as the playful relationship with light. Sometimes we even fundamentally redesign systems based on the architect’s concept or the desires of the developer, taking into account the building regulations and culture of the respective country. We go further than other professionals, as we select from a broader range of products, have our own facility, and among our suppliers are the largest European manufacturers and system operators.
