KAV is amongst the most excellent companies in Hungary

KAV Hungária was awarded a prize in the Innovation and Ongoing Perfectioning and the Culture of Recognition categories in the Hungary’s Most Excellent Companies Award Programme.
This year, Investors in People Hungary (IIP) and the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (BCCH) award the prizes in the Hungary’s Most Excellent Companies Award for the second time. This programme was launched by the two organisations in 2016. By awarding a prize to organisational solutions that are also outstanding in international relations, they aim to set examples to be followed by the actors of the Hungarian economy, and to create a community that helps to raise awareness of the most excellent practices and to spread them.
At the awards gala, KAV Hungária received two prizes. According to the justification “the company is an envied actor in the Hungarian construction industry in many aspects; its competitive advantage is due to its innovation-oriented organisation and its maximum demand for quality”.
The Hungary’s Most Excellent Companies Programme certifies the quality, consistency and business usefulness of human resource management practices, based on the criteria of the international Investors in People Standard. The Investors in People Standard and accreditation system was launched in 1991 in Great Britain with the intention of supporting companies with useful ideas, and to provide a professional framework that creates competitive advantage through the development of the organisational background and its alignment with business goals. In the past 26 years, this Standard became the international benchmark for organisational development and human resources management. International accreditation is granted for good practices, which signals, as a strong distinguishing trademark, that the company is a better workplace and business partner than others.

Frameless sliding door structures with an architect’s eye
Each project poses a different challenge to architects and to door and window professionals as well. One of our reference concepts is based on the unlimited view created by the wing-opening roof and the space stretched by the floor. Filigree division solutions, as well as frameless sliding mechanisms, were the main solution to achieve maximum transparency. The Vizafogó parish lodge has been renewed with KAV support

The ALUTA awarded two KAV buildings
After the successes of recent years, this year two KAV buildings were honored with the only recognition of Hungarian aluminum door and façade manufacturers, ALUTA Nívódíj. In the small project category, which includes residential buildings, the KAV project "Költőkert" in Mártonhegy, Budapest, was awarded the ALUTA Nívódíj. Special KAV doors and windows in Költő Kert
MTVA's innovation magazine program, Novum, made a report on the special glass elements and door and window solutions of the 5,000 square meter Költő Kert villa park, a building complex that is also considered special in Europe. Environmental awareness, innovation, organic architectural elements with transparent huge glass surfaces, and a way of thinking in which visual culture also plays a prominent role. One of the biggest challenges in the Költő Kert villa park was the special solutions that the KAV staff had to create at the junction of the raw concrete surface and the glass membrane. Károly Lovász highlighted in the report that KAV's engineers and employees had to solve many challenges during the planning and execution, whether it was thermal technology, sun protection, mechanical engineering, glass railing connections or waterproofing. The result is a simultaneously organic and high-tech building, which is considered exceptional in Hungary not only in its appearance, but also in its innovations.

Henriette Hégli graduated as an economist and came to our company in July last year after a career as an executive and real estate salesperson.
